2025 budget: Oye LG Boss Bamisile meets community leaders.

….to prioritize empowerment and rural Development.

The Chairman of Oye Local Government Princess Adeola Bamisile has assured the people of the Council area of her administration’s commitment to the all round development of the council with special focus on empowerment and rural Development.

The Oye Council Boss gave the assurance during a town hall meeting with the citizens of the local government as part of the preparation for the 2025 budget.

At the Stakeholders meeting were traditional rulers led by the Oloye Oba Oluwole Ademolaju, traditional Chiefs, Market Women, Transport Unions, Opinion leaders among others from Oye, Ire and Ayegbaju Ekiti.

Princess Bamisile told the gathering that the meeting was aimed at ensuring community participation in budget preparation as exemplified by Governor Biodun Oyebanji.

She added that the purpose of the meeting was to interact with the representative of various towns, to articulate the needs of the communities for inclusion in the 2025 annual budget.

Princess Bamisile said that the budget would focus more on Health care, Education, infrastructural Development and rural roads expansion so as to ensure that agricultural produce are easily transported to the town.

The Oye Council Boss promised the communities that their demands would be addressed and the basic one included in the budget

Earlier the Director of Budget in the local government Mr Vincent Babatunde noted that the approach of community participation in budget preparation has stimulated confidence of the people in the government administration.

Representatives from Oye , Ire and Ayegbaju Ekiti took time to present their needs according to their priorities at the meeting.

Oloye Oba Oluwole Ademolaju used the occasion to call on the people of the local government to always pay their taxes towards the realization of the 2025 budget in the local government.
