As part of activities marking the 50th anniversary of the National Youth Service Corp NYSC, Ekiti State office has organized a road show to sensitize the public.
The road show took the Ekiti state Coordinator of the scheme, Mrs Mary Chikezie and some corps members to oja Oba through, okeiyinmi, oke ila and Old garage area of Ado Ekiti.
The team who were excited witnessing the 50th anniversary of the scheme danced to different music supplied by the disc jokey.
Some corps members at the market square enlightened the people in different languages on the importance of the scheme.
Mrs Chikeze in an interview said the scheme have course to celebrate it 50th anniversary considering it achievements in all sectors of the Nation’s economy.
She said since it established, the scheme has remained resolute to it mandate of ensuring unity and integration.
The state Coordinator said the scheme would not relent in it mandate.
Mrs Chikeze charged prospective corps members to continue to believe in the scheme.
