Just few days after the conclusion of the National Sports Festival in Edo state, the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi has appointed a female Sports Administrator, Mrs Olusola Osetoba as the acting Chairman of Ekiti State Sports Council.
According to the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Mr Micheal Awopetu who hinted BSES via the telephone, Governor Fayemi approved Mrs Osetoba’s appointment following favourable consideration by the Governor.
The Emure Ekiti born Sports enthusiast will assume office in the next couple of days to swing into action .
Before her appointment as acting Chairman of the Sports Council, Mrs Olusola Osetoba who had Masters Degree in Educational Psychology was a board member of the Sports Council who has shown exemplary passion towards sports at the grassroots and at the state level and she is at present, the Matron of Emure Local Government Football Council.
She has also been organizing Secondary schools female football , Ayo Olopon and talent hunt competitions in the Local Government and she was also the logistics Manager for JKF Under 17 cup at the state level
Mrs Osetoba is always at the stadium whenever Ekiti United are playing home matches to give her own moral support and also a friend of the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State, BSES who has supported the sports desk in a couple of ways with a promise to do more at taking Ekiti sports to the world through all available conventional and socal media platforms.
