The Wife of the Ekiti State Governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi has charged the 2021 prospective candidates for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME in Ekiti State to remain focused in their studies.
Erelu Fayemi gave the charge while distributing the JAMB E-pin to over 2000 candidates in Ekiti State.
While advising the prospective candidates, the Ekiti State Governor’s wife said that State Government had provided for all the needs of the students to write the Examination successfully.
She noted that the present administration would leave no stone unturned in preparing the future leaders of Ekiti State with the requisite qualification to enable them improve upon the solid foundation that the present government had laid.
The Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Dr. Adebimpe Aderiye represented by the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Technical Education and Girl Child Development, Professor Francisca Aladejana said that the free education in Ekiti state is aimed at ensuring that every child gets the basic and post basic education.
She said that the program was put in place to sensitize and inspire the youths for greatness.
The Executive Secretary of the Board for Adult and Non-formal Education, Mrs M. O. Falade urged the students to reciprocate the government’s effort through their performance during the Examination.
