The immediate past Chairman of the Ekiti Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, Professor Francisca Aladejana is dead
Aladejana died on Monday afternoon at the age of sixty three.
The cause of her death is still unknown as at the time of filling this report.
Before her demise, she was the Special Adviser to Governor Kayode Fayemi on Basic and Secondary Education.
Professor Aladejana, a former Provost of the College of Education, Ikere Ekiti served as the SUBEB Chairman between March 2019 to August 2020.
Francisca Aladejana had Bachelor of Science in Education and Biology with First Class Honours at the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University of Ile-Ife.
She obtained Master’s Degree in Science Education, and a PhD in Botany (Ife).
Late Professor Aladejana was a senior lecturer and the Director of the Institute of Education, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
She had won two distinguished awards.
Her research interests include Science Education, Gender Studies, ICT use in Science Teaching, and very recently NKS.
She has attended many International Conferences and has published widely in many National and International Journals.
