The All Progressives Congress, Ekiti State Chapter has elected Executive Members that would pilot the affairs of the party at the Local Government Levels for the next four years.
BSES monitored the Congress in Ado Ekiti and noted that it was done through vote affirmation as members unanimously agreed on who to lead them for a four year term.
Twenty nine ward officials from the 13 wards in the Ado Local government converged on the pavilion in Fajuyi area of the state capital to participate in the Congress.
Officers of the Nigeria Police force and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, were on ground to monitor the Congress.
Earlier the Chairman of the Conduct and Monitoring Committee of the Congress from the National Headquarters of the Party, Mr Yusuf Shittu-Galambi had addressed the Electoral officers from the sixteen Local Government Areas of the State and charged them to conduct the exercise with all sincerity.
