The Ekiti State Police Command says it is working hard to rescue the ten people who were abducted yesterday night at Itapaji Ekiti.
In a statement, the Public Relations Officer of the Command, Mr Sunday Abutu said special police operatives and the Joint Task Force had been deployed to the axis to ensure the rescue of the victims and the possible arrest of the culprits.
He solicited credible information that could ensure the success of the rescue operation.
Report says the abductors have demanded ten million naira before the victims could regain their freedom.
