The family and friends of the late Demilade Fadare have called on the wife of the Ekiti State Governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, the Nigeria Police and other security agencies to help unravel the mystery behind the death of the seven year old Demilade.
The family members, who staged a demonstration to the office of the wife of the governor in Ado, said the life of Demilade was cut short at her prime.
They bemoaned the claim that the suspected assailant was insane, challenging those flying the kite to support their claims with a medical report confirming the insanity of the alleged culprit.
BSES had earlier reported that the Parents of the missing 7 year old Demilade Fadare woke up to a more devastating mood this morning, as the body of their daughter, earlier declared missing since Monday, was found lifeless in a house beside theirs.
Demilade was said to have been allegedly cut into pieces by a middle-aged lady said to be mentally derailed.
The incident occurred at Adeun area of Ado Ekiti.
The mother of Demilade had sent her on an errand to a house nearby only to get missing in transit.
She later raised an alarm after which a search party swung into action, but all efforts to locate Demilade proved abortive.
Her dismembered body was discovered Tuesday morning in the neighborhood.
It was gathered that the father of the alleged assilant went to report her daughter’s act to the police around seven on Monday evening.
The alleged assailant was said to be at large as at the time of filling this report, while her parents are currently in police custody and angry youths in the community have however set their house ablaze.
The Ekiti State Fire Service team has since put out the fire
