The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State for the June 18 Election, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, has promised to recruit more officers into the Amotekun Corps to further complement the existing security agencies with a view to ensuring security of lives and property in the state.
Oyebanji made this known while unveiling his plans for Ekiti at the Official presentation of his manifesto and mobilisation roadshow which held at the Abiodun Adetiloye hall in Ado Ekiti.
The APC governorship candidate, who spoke on a 6 point developmental agenda for the state, said his administration would provide logistics and equipment support to existing security agencies as well prioritise the implementation of the 30 year Ekiti State Development Plan.
On Education, Mr Oyebanji said that the free and compulsory education policy of the APC government would continue to the Senior Secondary School three level and that his government would commence a digital training programme to train at least five thousand youths in critical technology skills required to be globally competitive.
He promised to consolidate on the six point agenda of the present administration which are job creation, Human Capital Development, Agriculture and Rural Development, Infrastructure and Industrialization, Arts, Culture and Tourism and Governance.
