A pregnant woman, Mrs Queen Ajayi, has been delivered of baby along the Ijesha-Isu/Ikole road by some nurses working at a government hospital in Ijesha Isu.
The woman, who is married to a labourer, was said to be unable to register for an antenatal clinic because of her poor economic status up till the time she fell to labor on her way to the hospital.
Report says that a passerby, who got wind of the development, was said to have called the attention of the nurses at the hospital to the situation.
The nurses were reported to have mobilised to the location beside the road, took delivery of the baby and moved them to the health facility.
The new born and the mother are said to be in a stable condition.
