The Ekiti State Governor, Mr ‘Biodun Oyebanji has begun move to solicit more support from Federal ministries, agencies and Corporate Bodies in realization of his development plan for the state.
Governor Oyebanji who first visited NIRSAL Micro Finance Bank Headquarters, Abuja met with the Managing Director, Abubakar Abdulahi Kure and Executive Director Finance, Mr Lawrence Akande.
He said the visit was to solicit more support funds for Ekiti people particularly at empowering traders
Mr Oyebanji was also at the Corporate Headquarters of Small Medium Enterprises and Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) where he informed them of his desire to make Ekiti prosperous in all facets.
In his remarks, the Director General, Small Medium Enterprises and Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), Mr Olawale Fasanya, enumerated lots of SMEDAN programmes that can benefit the state.
He assured the Governor that the Agency would partner the state in the areas of Agrobusiness, conditional grant schemes among others.
The Ekiti State Governor also participated at a meeting in the African Development Bank also in Abuja.
