The inaugural Executive Council meeting under the administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji has been held.
This came barely a week after the Secretary to the State government, Alhaja Habibat Adubiaro and Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Dayo Apata were sworn in.
The State Executive Council meeting presided over by the Governor also had the Chief Press Secretary, Mr Yinka Oyebode, Head of Service, Mr Bamidele Agbede and Director General, Bureau of Public Procurement, Mr Seun Odewale in attendance.
Oath of Secrecy was administered on the SSG, Attorney General and a career officer who is the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet services and Special duties, Mrs Oyeyemi Kayode-Ojo
The council later went on a closed door meeting.
Briefing Newsmen at the end of the meeting, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Olayinka Oyebode said the major focus of the inaugural meeting was the presentation of the Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) 2022-2025 budgetary composition for the state.
According to him, the Governor who is the Chairman of the Council, charged members of the Council to brace up for the task of moving the state forward.
