The Legislative Council of the Ekiti west local government has suspended the chairman of Ekameta Local council Development Authority, Mr Kayode Oyebola.
In a release signed by the leader of the council, Mr Ayotunde Oluwaseyi, members at its sitting arrived at the decision having deliberated on the allegations of non performance and gross misconduct levelled against the Ekameta chairman by stakeholders from his community.
The legislative arm directed Mr Oyebola to handover all the LCDA properties in his care to the vice chairman and to stay away from the council till further notice.
