The Ansarudeen Society of Nigeria, Ekiti State Council, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his assumption of office as the 16th President of the country.
In a communique after its meeting in Ikole Ekiti, signed by its National Vice President Alhaji Afolabi Ogunlayi and the Ekiti state Chairman, Alhaji Ademola Bello, the Council also lauded the president on the appointment of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume and that of the Chief Of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila.
The Society expressed confidence in the ability and capacity of the SGF and the COS to work efficiently with the President.
The Ekiti Ansar ‘Deen Society commended the decision taken so far by the President since his assumption of office to take Nigeria out of the current unpleasant situation urging him not to compromise his stance.
It also urged President Tinubu to appoint credible people into his cabinet, so that the task of ensuring the greatness of the country would be easy to attain.
The Council, however, called for constructive criticism and prayers for the government, both at the Federal and State levels, as it acknowledged the strides of Governor Biodun Oyebanji in Ekiti State.
The body charged the governor to remain focussed as he continues to impact and improve the lives of Ekiti people.
