Ekiti govt sets to remove illegal structures on Omisanjana-Ajebandele Road

By Editor

As construction work is set to commence from Omisanjana road junction to Ajebandele, in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State Government has directed all those whose buildings have attachments or illegal structures in their frontage to remove them immediately before Friday this week.

The Commissioner for Works, Mr Adesola Adebayo, gave the directive while inspecting the road.

He said that the Ministry had informed the building owners for the past six months about the development.

The Commissioner appealed to them to comply with the directive to avoid being caught unawares.

Mr Adebayo explained that the road users would be diverted to ply the road beside Olaoluwa Muslim Grammar School.

The Works Commissioner, who stressed the commitment of the present administration to the welfare of Ekiti people, said the government was working round the clock to provide a conducive environment for the populace.
