Officials of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) are currently in Ekiti State to track Constituency projects executed by different agencies of the Federal Government.
The Over 85 Executive and Constituency projects are valued at over N8.028 billion naira.
The investigative effort, which falls under Phase 6 of the ‘ICPC Constituency and Executive Projects Tracking (CEPT), will take the team to all local governments across the state.
They were at the Odo Ado area of the State Capital, on 18th October, 2023, to track the Solar Powered Street Light executed by the Energy Commission in the year 2022.
The projects being tracked cut across various sectors, including Health, Works, Water, Empowerment and Electrification.
The tracking team consits of members from the ICPC, the Nigeria Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Civil Society Organizations, and the Media, commenced the exercise in Ekiti on the 16th October, 2023.
