The chairman of Ajoni Local Council development area Prince Michael ogungbemi has called for more collaborative efforts in ridding the state of criminal elements following the senseless murder of two Ekiti monarchs, the Elesun Oba Babatunde Ogunsakin and Olumojo , Oba Olatunji Olusola along Oke Ako – Ipao road on Monday.
Prince Ogungbemi who gave the charge in Oke Ayedun said that Ekiti people must all rise up to the challenge of insecurity and protection of lives and property.
He noted that criminal activities in and around the state should be exposed to security agencies to prevent further killing of innocent souls in the state.
The Ajoni LCDA Boss charged law enforcement agents to be more focused in securing the state and do all they could to reduce crime in the state.
Prince Ogungbemi called for combined operation of Military, other security agencies and local hunters in combing the forests in the state.
The Ajoni LCDA Boss prayed for the quick release of the Apostiolic Faith Nursery/ Primary School Emure pupils from the kidnappers den.
He lauded governor Biodun Oyebanji’s efforts in stemming the tide of insecurity in the state.
