The Ekiti State chapter of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) has commiserated with the Government of Ekiti State and the family of All Progressives Congress chairman, Barrister Paul Omotosho on his untimely death.
Algon in a statement signed by it chairman, Mr Olusegun Ojo, says Barrister Omotosho was a great community leader, an astute politician , an apostle of peace and a reliable rallying point in the APC.
“His dedication and leadership style within our political party have left an indelible mark on all of us, His passion for serving the people of Ekiti State was truly inspiring, and his loss will be deeply felt by our party and the state at large.
During this difficult time, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with the family, APC and the entire state. Barr. Omotoso will be fondly remembered for his straight forwardness, humility, unwavering commitment to our party’s ideals and his tireless efforts to make a difference in the lives of others.
We therefore urge the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, the leadership of the party to take heart at this difficult time. May his gentle soul rest in peace
