Stakeholders in Ido Osi Local Government and Isokan Local Council Development Area of Ekiti State have advocated for a second term in Office for Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
The Stakeholders, at a meeting in Ido Ekiti, explained that the works of the governor was enough to earn him a second term in office.
Representatives of Pensioners, Pa Adeoye Aladegbami, Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NUGLE, Mr Dele Omotoye, Nigerian Union of Teachers, Mrs Oluwayemisi Adeoti, and the leader of Iyaloja in Ido Osi, Alhaja Suleiman Ademola, said that the government of Mr Oyebanji had touched them and their members positively.

They highlighted the various developmental works of the governor to include, infrastructural development and prompt payment of their entitlements
In his remarks the Senator representing Ekiti North at the National Assembly, Cyril Fasuyi, said that the APC in the council area was unanimous in their decision to back the governor for a second term in office.
The motion for second term in office was moved by the Senator, while it was seconded by the lawmaker representing the area in the state house of Assembly, Mr Yomi Ayorinde.

Similarly, the Commissioner for Education, Dr Kofoworola Aderiye, his counterpart in the Ministry of Budget, Mr Niyi Adebayo, the Special Adviser office of Transformation and Service Delivery, Dr John Ekundayo, pitched their tent with the earlier speakers.
They urged the governor to throw his hat in the ring for the contest.
