The Masters in Banking and Finance/Masters in Business Administration 2023/2024 set of the Federal University Oye Ekiti Business School has celebrated its convocation ceremony in a grand style.
The ceremony, held in Ado Ekiti, was filled with music, dance, and merriment, as the graduates and their guests celebrated the significant milestone.
In his welcome address, the Class Governor of the set, Hon. Ayodeji Adarabierin expressed gratitude to the university’s management, faculty members, and colleagues for their support throughout the program.
“We are proud to have made it this far, and we are grateful for the knowledge, skills, and networks we have acquired during our time at FUOYE BUSINESS SCHOOL, This moment is a culmination of our collective efforts, and we are excited to start this new chapter in our lives.” Adarabierin added
The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Abayomi Fasina who was represented by the Director Fuoye Business School, Dr Adepoju Ashaolu, noted that the institution’s Business School was one of the best in the country.
The Don explained that FUOYE has once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and community development.
“We are committed to excellence and integrity and that is our hallmark, the FUOYE Business School offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including accounting, banking and finance, business administration, and entrepreneurship”
Also there were goodwill messages from the Director Part-time and institute of distance learning, Dr Leke Omolade and Prof Omosolape Owoseeni who congratulated the graduands on the achievement and encouraged them to make a positive impact in their respective fields.
“You have been equipped with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to succeed in today’s complex business environment, We expect you to make a positive difference and be ambassadors of the Federal University Oye Ekiti .”
The highlight of the event was the presentation of awards of excellence to some management staff of the institution, the Class Governor Hon Adarabierin who is also the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Biodun Oyebanji on Tax and Revenue Matters, and his Deputy, a season banker Mr Ismaila Shaibu.
The event was also marked by the presentation of a commemorative package to all members of the MBA/MBF 2023/2024 set of the university.
