The Customary Court of Appeal sitting in Ado-Ekiti, has upheld the decision of it lower court in Are Ekiti over Owiriwiri farmland in Afao-Ekiti .
The appellant, Chief Asa Oladele Olusegun Jeje, formulated the appeal on nine grounds, which include; lack of jurisdiction of the lower court, non-proof of respondents’ case and that the Judgement of the Lower Court was against the weight of evidence, among others.
Respondents in the appeal are; Mr. Bakare Olanipekun, Mr. Adeoye Olorunfemi, Mr. Bayo Olorunfemi and Mr. Jide Olorunfemi.
Delivering his judgement Justice Rotimi Adegboye resolved all issues in favour of the respondents.
Other members of the panel, Justice Lawrence Ojo and Justice Olufolakemi Ogundele agreed with the lead Judgement.
