An accident involving a luxury bus and a low bed that carried an Earth moving equipment, has claimed a life, along the Ado-Iworoko road, leaving many injured.
According to multiple sources, the luxury bus, provided by the Ekiti State government to convey civil servants, was coming from the Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, while the articulated vehicle owned by a construction firm, was heading towards Iworoko, when the incident occured.
Sources said that the vehicles had a head on collision, resulting in the fatality.
Another source claimed that the Truck was trying to make a U turn when the bus rammed into it
The driver of the bus was confirmed dead at the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, while others who sustained varying degrees of injury were being attended to at the Accident and Emergency Unit of the facility.
