An accident involving a commercial motorcycle and a truck has claimed the live of the rider.
An eye witness said that the incident, which occurred about two hundred meters to the main gate of EKSU was due to lack of concentration on the part of the duo.
The witness said that the rider, who was riding against the traffic, attempted to make a u-turn on the highway when the oncoming truck, who had the right of way, ran over it.
He added that while the passenger of the motorcycle managed to dive, the rider was unlucky because the truck was closer.
Sympathisers from the tribe of the deceased have since evacuated his remains.
