Two policemen reportedly lost their lives early this morning owing to an accident along Adebayo area of Ado Ekiti.
The development led to the total blockade of the road leading to the Ekiti State University Ado Ekiti as at time of filing this report.
According to eye witness, the policemen were on a motorcycle coming from EKSU road heading to Ado, while the trailer which had a headon collision with the motorcycle was on it ways towards EKSU.
pedestrians due to the abandoned portion from aromokeye pharmacy- Midas junction and Aayemi garage. Four young men just lost their lives again this morning after a tipper truck ran into them on bike while trying to maneuver through the enforced one- way drive.
The trailer was said to have ran into the motorcycle and it passenger while trying to maneuver through the enforced one way drive, owing to ongoing construction work on the other lane of the road.
Passersby appealed to the state government to complete the work in no distance time to prevent road users from joining the Eksu lane which they ascribed the accident to.
The body of the deceased have since been taken away.
