Ado -Central LCDA Chairman, Ojo Completes, Donates Classroom to Community

The Executive Chairman of Ado-Central Local Council Development Area, Engr. Oluwatoyin Ojo, has formally handed over a newly completed classroom block to the Orija Community, Ajebamidele, Ado Ekiti. This donation aims to bolster the community’s educational infrastructure and enhance teaching and learning experiences for pupils.

At a colorful ceremony held at the premises of Orija Community Nursery and Primary School, Engr. Ojo expressed profound gratitude to God for the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to societal development. He also commended Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi, for expedited approval of the project, facilitating its timely completion.

Engr. Ojo acknowledged the collaborative efforts of the Landlords/Landladies Association of the community and his management staff whose cooperations were instrumental in the project’s success.

The chairman said he discovered during his visit to the school recently to assess the construction of a 100-meter surface drainage his government was carrying out at the school then that the existing classrooms were inadequate to accommodate the growing number of pupils.A development which prompted his administration to undertake the completion of the classroom block.

Engr. Ojo reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to continue initiating projects that would have a direct, positive impact on the lives of the people.

Commissioning the project, the APC party chairman in Ado Ekiti Local Government, Hon. Micheal Akinleye, lauded Engr.Ojo for always prioritizing the unique needs of the people. He charged the school authorities to ensure optimal utilization of the facility.

Earlier ,the Education Secretary of Ado Local Government, Mr. Oluwatoyin Omotoso; the Headmistress of the school, Mrs. Fasunhon Olanike; and the Chairman of the Parents Teachers Association (PTA),Mr. Adebayo, commended Engr. Ojo for the project and appealed for the fencing of the school to safeguard the pupils.

The newly completed classroom is equipped with modern furniture and a state-of-the-art chalkboard, providing a conducive learning environment for the pupils.

The event drew attendance from stakeholders in the educational sector, top management members of the Council, and other notable personalities.
