The Chairman of Ekiti Okada Riders Association, Mr Kunle Asaolu, has denounced the insinuation that those behind the recent crimes, in Ado Ekiti, were members of the Okada Riders Association.
Mr Asaolu, who gave the information while speaking with BSES, said that the Association had commenced the series of sanitation to get rid off bad eggs.
The Chairman, who expressed sadness over recent killings in the state Capital, especially the use of Okada to carry out the heinous crime, said that the Association would continue to intensify efforts to ensure the arrest of perpetrators.
Mr Asaolu explained that the Sanitation operation, which was being carried out by officers of the body at different locations in Ado, would help improve security.
He appealed to members to refrain from the love of money, which he said could be used to lure them to a trap.
Mr Asaolu encouraged residents of the state to always report Okada riders suspected of criminal activities to security agencies or the Association.
