The LCDA Chairman, Hon. ” We assure the public that no forms are being sold, and no money has been collected by the Council or its representatives, We urge everyone to be cautious and protect themselves from scams.” Hon Gbadamosi added.
The Chairman also reassured earlier shop owners that their interest will be accorded topmost priority in the sharing of the new shops, “once the market is completed, we are committed to ensuring that the Mojere Market benefits our people, and will not allow unscrupulous individuals to undermine our efforts”.
Hon. Gbadamosi, assured the women that the Management was working closely with relevant authorities to investigate and bring to justice those responsible for the alleged scam.
She admonished members of the public to report any suspicious activities or transactions related to the Mojere Market to the Local Council Authorities.
The Chairman concluded in the local dialect, “”Emi lale Ado a gbe a o”. “E so ni ka ba ijoba ra je, Oke l’Ado a lo a si o”.
