…Engages Communities on 2025 Budget Preparation
The Chairman, Ado North LCDA, Hon. Olatokunbo Gbadamosi, has reaffirmed her commitment to enhancing community safety and participatory governance.
The Council Boss who made the affirmation at a well attended ceremony, held at the Council’s Temporary Secretariat, Okeila, Ado Ekiti distributed vital equipment, such as motorcycles, wooden and plastic chairs and tables, laptop and printer, and tyres to security outfits operating in the area.
Hon Gbadamosi said the gesture was to complement the efforts of the state government and encourage the security personnel.
Handing over the gadgets to the beneficiaries, the Ado North LCDA Chairman explained that every serious government must prioritize the security of lives and property of it citizens, adding that her administration was leaving no stone unturned at ensuring this.
She expressed the view that the equipment would further strengthen security and intelligence gathering in the council and enhance effective and efficient service delivery.
Hon Gbadamosi however charged the recipients to maintain the gadgets and used it for the purpose meant for.
Responding on behalf of the recipients, the Divisional Police officer in charge of Oke-Ila Division Mr Sesan Falade represented by Assistant Superintendent Aliu Sikiru thanked the Chairman for the incentives, promising to utilize the materials for the purpose it was meant for.
Hon Gbadamosi also hosted a community a community engagement forum, providing a platform for citizens to contribute to the year 2025 budget preparation.
According to her, the initiative was to create an inclusive approach, ensuring that fiscal policies reflect the need and priority of the people.
Hon. Gbadamosi, seized the occasion to congratulate the Ekiti State Governor, HE, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on his sterling two years in office,and solicited the support of the people for his administration. She also commended the Governor for creating the enabling environment, facilitating numerous development projects and initiatives across the LCDA.
Goodwill messages were presented by the Chairman of Ado LG, Hon. Bosun Osaloni, Chairman of Ado Central LCDA, Hon. Eng.Toyin Ojo, Chairman Ado West LCDA, Hon. Prince Bolu Aladesanmi, the APC Chairman Ado LG, Ch.Mike Akinleye, High Chief Albert Obayemi, the Alarinerin of Ado Ekiti and an elderstateman, Chief Falayi.
Also, present were Community leaders, market women, youth groups, people with special needs, transporters and top local council functionaries.
