The Ado North Local Council Development Area, has opened bids for four projects aimed at enhancing the lives of her residents.
The milestone event held at the Council’s Temporary Secretariat, Okeila, Ado-Ekiti, underscores the management’s commitment to upholding transparency and accountability in its procurement processes.
The Chairman, Hon. Olatokunbo Gbadamosi, represented by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Kolade Ogunsakin, emphasised the importance of transparency during bidding processes as “it is crucial in delivery value for money and promoting public trust.”
The four projects up for bidding include:
1)Completion of a Block of 6 Rooms at the LCDA Permanent Site.
2) Construction of 1.5 metre Line Drainage of concrete to concrete with 8 metres Cover Slab at Olaofe Avenue, Housing Estate, Afao Rd, Ado-Ekiti.
3) Construction of Additional Work at the Chairman’s Office, Tea & Board Rooms at the Permanent Secretariat.
4) Stabilization of Erosion at Temidire Street, Okeila, Ado-Ekiti.
The Director of Procurement, Mrs. Bolaji Olatubosun, urged successful contractors to adhere strictly to the projects specifications and timeliness.
She admonished them to prioritise quality, safety, local content and community engagement, throughout the projects’ execution.
