Again, A Nurse, Mrs Theresa Omodara has demonstrated the Florence Nightingale Theory of the profession by helping a pregnant woman to deliver her of a baby at Ologoji farm settlement, Ijan Ekiti.
Report says that a commercial motorcyclist had noticed the woman in who fell into labour in the farm and rushed to general hospital Ijan-Ekiti to inform the health officials of the development.
Mrs Omodara was said to have heeded the call and rushed to the scene to render assistance, which led to the safe delivery of the baby.
The mother and the newborn were thereafter moved to the general hospital Ijan-Ekiti and are responding to treatment.
Recall that a nurse had about some months ago performed a similar safe delivery at Ijesha Isu.
