Agbomoagan foundation lifts indigent students, pays NECO fees

In continuation of its humanitarian gesture, the Joseph Oreoluwa Agbomoagan Foundation has paid about seven hundred thousand National Examination Council NECO Scholarship for students selected from secondary schools in Ikere and Ilawe Ekiti

Indigent students, who benefitted from the Foundation’s gesture, were selected from African Church Comprehensive High school, Eleyo high School, Irepodun Community high School Ikere Ekiti and corpus Christi College, Ilawe Ekiti.

The initiative, tagged “School a child Africa”, was another move by the Foundation to ensure that brilliant, but indigent students attend school.

The representative of the foundation, Mrs Bolanle Akinmolafe, handed over the scholarship cheques to the beneficiaries.

Some of the teachers at African Church Comprehensive High School, Ikere, were also supported with cash.

In an interview, Mrs Akinmolafe said that the scholarship was borne out of the benevolence of the proprietor of the Foundation, Mr. Lugard Agbomoagan, to give back to his Alma mater.

She said the foundation, had in the past, gave out JAMB forms to students and, as well, reached out to the aged in the community.

The representative of the Foundation urged people to continue to pray for the success of the founder.

In their remarks, the Principal of African Comprehensive High School, Ikere, Mrs Viavo, the school Senior Prefect, Alomoge Ayomiposi, the representative of Corpus Christi College, Ilawe and other beneficiaries, thanked the Agbomoagan Foundation for supporting education at all times.

They promised to study hard so as to justify the investment.
