The Chairman of Ajoni local council Development Area Prince Michael Ogungbemi has sworn in Mr Segun Jaiyeoba as the new Council’s secretary.
Administering the oath of office on the Secretary Prince Ogungbemi charged him to join hands with the LCDA authority at ensuring that the area witnessed desired development.
He charged him to bring in his wealth of experience so that the council could be the envy of others and to achieve the purpose it was put in place for.
Mr Jaiyeoba who took the oath of office in presence of members of staff of the LCDA, family members and political associates pledged to support the LCDA Chairman in his bid to bring rapidly transform the area.
He commended the Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi for creating the LCDA which has brought government closer to the grassroots, while also promising to justify the confidence reposed in him.
The secretary expressed the hope that the chairman Prince Ogungbemi would deliver on his electioneering promises
