Aladejana’s death a rude shock, says Egbeyemi

The Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi has mourned the death of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Basic and Secondary Education, Professor Francisca Aladejana.

Otunba Egbeyemi said that Professor Aladejana’s sudden death was a rude shock and a great loss noting that her demise had robbed Ekiti State of a gem.

The Deputy Governor in a statement by his Special Assistant Media, Odunayo Ogunmola, also described the deceased as a patriot saying she served the state and humanity selflessly in her lifetime with wonderful records to show for her service.

Otunba Egbeyemi said that the story of Ekiti’s excellence in the education sector would not be complete without mentioning the name of Professor Aladejana whom he described as a teacher of teachers and a moulder of future generations.

He said: “Her sudden death was a rude shock and a great loss. She was a gentle, nice, intelligent, humble, loving and a patriotic lady. Ekiti has lost a gem. May her soul rest in peace.”

While praying God to grant the family, friends and associates of the deceased the fortitude to bear the monumental loss, the Deputy Governor urged them to be consoled by her good deeds and positive impact she made in her generation
