An All Progressives Congress stalwart from Ido Osi Local Government, Dr Ayodeji Dada has congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji on his feat as the best Governor of the Year award conferred on him by the Independent Newspaper.
According to the Orin Ekiti born Political juggernaut, the award ceremony which was held at the Convention Centre, Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, in Lagos State by the management of the newspaper, was in recognition of the Governor’s development strides in the last one and half years, especially in the State in the areas of community development, youth and women empowerment, infrastructure upgrade as well as his inclusive government, which has put the state on an irreversible path of peace, progress and prosperity.
The Originator of the HAYODA Movement and HAYODA foundation in his congratulatory message said that the award was well deserved owing to the various people’s oriented policies of the Ikogosi born Political enigma within a short period of time in the office. .
He noted that the award had further lend credence to Governor Oyebanji’s remarkable performance in office.
“ Governor Oyebanji’s development strides in the last one and half years, especially in the areas of community development, youth and women empowerment, infrastructure upgrade as well as his inclusive government, which has put the state on an irreversible path of peace, progress and prosperity, is second to none., hence he deserves all the accolades and I know that this great honor will further serve as an impectus for our admirable and indefatigable Governor to do more, he concluded.
The Managing Director/ Editor-in-Chief of Daily Independent Newspaper , Mr Steve Omanufeme, in the letter of award said the organization took particular note of Governor Oyebanji’s unique brand of governance which places high premium on completion of inherited projects side by side with new ones; huge investments in human capital development and power and road infrastructure.
