….. RENEWS CALL FOR GOVERNOR OYEBANJI’S RE-ELECTION.
In a heartwarming display of kindness and generosity, a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Emure Local Government Area, Pastor Olatunde Oluwafemi who is popularly Called “Geleti Super” hosted dozens of widows, less privileged and party faithful at his residence, emphasizing the need for collective action to support the vulnerable in society.
The event, which was part of the APC stalwart’s annual outreach Programme, brought together widows and less privileged individuals from across the community, who were treated to a day of feasting, gift-giving, and merriment.
In his remarks, the APC stalwart, who has been a consistent advocate for the welfare of the vulnerable emphasized that the act of giving was not only a moral obligation, but also a vital component of building a more compassionate and equitable society.
“As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, let us not forget the vulnerable among us,” he said. “Let us show them love, kindness, and compassion, and strive to make their lives better.
Let’s remember that we are our brothers’ and sisters’ keepers, and that it is our collective responsibility to support those in need.” Geleti Super remarked.
The APC stalwart also used the occasion to appeal to Ekiti people to support Governor Biodun Oyebanji to run for second term in the office in order to consolidate on his various unprecedented achievements in all sectors.
“I must not forget to say that this present administration under the leadership of our Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has fulfilled almost 90 percent of what he promised Ekiti within the first two years of his administration. we cannot have it better than this now, which is the more reason all of us must encourage him to run for the second term come 2026” he said
He added that the governor was working hard to create a just and equitable society, where everyone has access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive, through his shared prosperity mantra, hence the news for all to reelect him in 2026
The State Chairman of the Party, Mr. Sola Elesin, SA State Capital Dev. Hon. Tade Aluko, Hon. Femi Ajayi, APC Chairman in Emure Local Government Mr Gabriel Monday among others party leaders described Pastor Oluwafemi’s gesture as commendable
They said that Pastor Oluwafemi was one of the strong pillars who is committed to promoting the ideals of the party and urged other Party members to emulate him.
Hundreds of people from other political parties were welcomed to the party by the State Party Chairman on behalf of the National Party Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje.
He assured them of equal opportunities saying that they should work assiduously for the success of the party in the subsequent elections.
Mrs Funmilayo Oluwafemi, the wife of the organizer of the event coordinated the distribution of the food items, cash gifts and other essential commodities to support their livelihoods
