Awedele market around Basiri area of Ado Ekiti has been gutted by fire.
Roofing logs and sheets of some shops yet to be occupied by the owners behind the market were on fire when BSES visited the scene.
Shop owners and some good Samaritan as well as fire fighters were putting off the fire as at the time of this report.
Some Residents around the area called on the owners of the shops to put it into use, adding that the area has been turned to India hemp smokers hide out.
They suspected the source of the fire to be connected to those smoking cigarettes and other stuff in the unoccupied shops
