Chelsea Football Club of England,last night in Porto, Portugal, emerged Champions of the 2020/2021 European Champions League.
Goal from Kai Havertz in the 42nd minute of the game was all Chelsea needed to lift the trophy against highly rated Manchester City.
Chelsea got 23.2 million dollars as winners while Manchester City, who appeared in the final for the first time, got 18.3 million dollars as runners up.
The Blues will now meet UEFA Europa league winners, Villarreal of Spain in the one off-match of the Super Cup.
Chelsea won the Champions League trophy for the second time after winning the title for the first time in 2012.
