Democracy Day: Bamisile Calls For Fervent Prayers, Unity Among Nigerians

The Chairman, House of Representatives Committtee on Federal Road Maintenance Agency FERMA, Hon. Femi Bamisile has again called for fervent prayers, unity and tolerance among Nigerians to strengthen the nation democratic System.

“The development remains only way to create more prosperity and realise human potential under a peaceful atmosphere needed for a meaningful and sustainable development”.

Hon. Bamisile made the call in a Statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti on this year June 12, Democracy Day Celebration.

The federal Lawmaker noted that, democracy remains the best form of government, hence the need for all Nigerians to always work for its sustainability.

Hon. Bamisile however described the emergence of the national Leader of the All Progressive Congress APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the Party presidential Candidate through a free, fair and credible primary Election as a good omen for the Party and Nigeria.

He expressed optimism that, the former Lagos State Governor being a core Democrat will no doubt further institutionalise democracy in Nigeria and other African Countries after winning the 2023 presidential election.

The former Speaker, Ekiti State House of Assembly, expressed dissatisfaction over the killings, abduction and kidnapping across the Country especially the Abuja-Kaduna Train, Owo Church and Ekiti State politically motivated attacks.

The Politician urged the security Agents to brace up with intelligent gathering to curtail any further breakdown of law and order in the Country.

While congratulating Nigerians worldover especially Ekiti People on this year Celebration, Hon. Bamisile enjoined them to always assist the security Agents through information as a tip to checkmate the nefarious activities of Criminals in the Country.
