The Ekiti State Airport has received it firsts Aircraft with registration number NAF 930 amidst funfair.
On ground to welcome the multipurpose commercial aircraft which landed around 10.20am, were the Ekiti State governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi and his wife, the Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, the Deputy Governor Elect, Monisade Afuye, Minister for Trade, Industry and Investment, Otunba Niyi Adebayo as well as other state functionaries.
On board the Aircraft was the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika and his entourage
The foundation of the Airport Project was laid by Governor Fayemi about two years ago.
