The Western Security Network, otherwise known as Amotekun Corps, Ekiti State Command, has paraded two minors and three others for robbery.
Briefing Journalists on the development, the Chief Operation Officer of the Corps, Mr Ajayi Aderotimi, said the suspects were arrested at Ilawe, Ise and Iyin Ekiti.
According to him the minors, who were between the ages of 15 and 16 years, entered the house of a visually impaired man at iyin Ekiti through the ceiling, with the aim of disposessing him of his valuables.
He added that unknown to them, the wife of the victim, who was still at home during the operation, raised the alarm and informed members of the Amotekun corps, who arrested them.
Speaking on the other suspects, Mr Ajayi said the Corps arrested two in Ilawe Ekiti, while trying to steal bags of Cocoa, while the other suspect was arrested at Ise Ekiti.
He said the one arrested at Ise Ekiti was in possession of a suspected stolen motorcycle.
Mr Ajayi said the suspects would be handed over to the police for prosecution after thorough investigation.
