The chairman of the 2022 Ekiti State gubernatorial primary election committee of the All Progressives Congress and governor of Jigawa state, Alhaji Badaru Abubakar, has assured all aspirants that the committee would conduct a free, fair and credible election on Thursday.
Alhaji Badaru, who gave the assurance at a stakeholders meeting held at the Abiodun Adetiloye hall in Ado Ekiti, said that necessary measures had been put in place to ensure a credible primary.
He said that the committee would give all the aspirants a level playing ground.
The Jigawa state governor said that only party members with valid INEC voter cards and whose name appears on membership registration list would be allowed to vote during the Primaries.
