Ekiti Assembly lifts ban on Lawmaker

Ekiti State House of Assembly has lifted suspension of the lawmaker representing Ado constituency two Mrs Kemi Balogun.

In a statement by the chairman house committee on Media and publicity, Hon Adeoye Aribasoye, the development followed the letter of Apology written by the affected lawmaker.

The statement read in parts:

The Ekiti State House of Assembly at her parliamentary sitting today Monday 28 day of November 2022 has lifted the suspension on Hon. Adekemi Balogun.

This is consequent to the consideration of her letter of apology and the fulfillment of other conditions attached to reinstatement.

Hon. Adekemi Balogun has therefore been readmitted to the house with all her rights and privileges restored.
