The Ekiti State Chief Judge, Justice John Adeyeye has constituted the Local Government Election Petitions Tribunal to entertain petitions emanating from the the just concluded Local Government/LCDs Elections held in the state on December 2.
In a Statement by the Chief Registrar of the court, Olanike Adegoke, members of aggrieved political parties not satisfied with the outcome of the election are encouraged to file their petitions at the Tribunal Secretariat, located inside the High Court premises, Fajuyi, in Ado Ekiti.
The statement adds that the office would open between the hours of 9:00 in the morning and 3:30 in the afternoon, Mondays to Fridays.
Commencement of hearing of such petitions shall be communicated to the parties.
