An Ekiti State High Court sitting in Ado Ekiti has sentenced one Kazeem Olafisoye and Owolaabi Usman to death by hanging for Conspiracy and Armed Robbery and life imprisonment for Attempt to Murder.
The 2 convicts were charged and arraigned before Justice Adekunle Adeleye on a three count charge.
According to the charge, the convicts and one other now at large robbed one Odo Charity and her household of the sum of ₦40,000 at gun point and Attempted to Murder Ugwe Ebuka by matcheting him with cutlass at Ekute,Ado Ekiti.
The lst convict was overpowered by good samaritans in the neighbourhood whilst the other gang members ran away.
Prosecution team led by the Director of Public Prosecutions-Julius Ajibare, called 4 witnesses and tendered 5 Exhibits to prove the case beyond reasonable doubt.
L.A. Fasanmi,represented the 1st Convict while the 2nd Convict was represented by Adeyinka Opake.
