In keeping to its promise, the Ekiti State Government has mobilized contractor to the Ado-Iworoko road for the completion of the Federal Road which had been abandoned for years.
Last week, after the weekly State Executive Council meeting, the Government announced the award of the contract, among others, so that the motoring public could enjoy smooth drive on it.
The contractor had started the earth work on the uncompleted potion from the Ilokun end.
Some Residents and passersby who spoke with BSES commended Government for matching action with her words.
They expressed hope that the road would be completed as an when due and would not be abadoned as it was in the past.
