The Ekiti State government has purchased JAMB E-registration pin forms, worth over 16 million naira, for prospective students in the state.
The wife of the State Governor, Dr Olayemi Abiodun-Oyebanji, who gave the information at the Flag off ceremony of the year 2023 Ekiti State government free jamb programme, in Ado, said two thousand five hundred students would benefit from the scheme.
Dr Abiodun-Oyebanji, who presented the forms to the beneficiaries, said that the move was in fulfilment of the promise of the present government to sustain the life touching programmes of the immediate past administration.
She charged the beneficiaries to study hard and pass the examination, as she also advised parents to relieve the teenagers of some responsibilities to enable them concentrate on their studies.
The Ekiti State Head of Service, Mr Bamidele Agbede, who was represented at the occasion by the Permanent Secretary, ministry of youth, Mrs Tola Faseluka, commended the administration for adopting the Programme.
She charged the benefitting students to be focused and and excell in their academics.
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, Miss Sharon Ajulo thanked the state government and promised to not to disappoint the government and their families.
