The Ekiti State Housing Corporation, Ado Ekiti, has honored fifty Eight officers of the establishment who retired from the state Public Service.
At a ceremony held at the Corporation’s headquarters, the General Manager, Mrs Ilesanmi Abimbola, congratulated the retirees on the successful completion of their service year.
The retirees bowed out of service between year 2010 to 2024.
Mrs Abimbola, who extolled the virtues of the senior citizens, said that the Corporation appreciated their contributions to the growth of the establishment.
She described them as dilligent workers who did not give room to insolence, and prayed for their success in their future endeavors.
The Chairman of the planning committee, Mrs Taiwo Sumonu, commended the General Manager for doing everything possible for the hosting of the ceremony.
In his words of exhortation, Pastor Joseph Awe harped on the need for everyone to always prepare for retirement days.
It was not a speech making event as gifts were presented to the retirees, while a group of women from the Corporation staged a cultural display.
The retirees thanked the management of the Corporation for the honor.
