Ekiti LG Service Commission Holds Prayer Sessions

…seeks continued support from staff

The Chairman, Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission, Chief Samuel Abejide, has visited Irepodun/Ifelodun and Ekiti Southwest Local Governments, where special prayer sessions were held for the State and Local Government authorities, and entire workerforce.

The chairman represented by a permanent Secretary in the commission, Mrs. Titi Toba-Ojo, lauded the State Governor, for his commitment to the welfare of workers, citing various initiatives that have positively impacted their lives.

She equally commended the workforce for their unwavering support and cooperation with all the tiers of government, urging them not to relent.

According, Mrs Toba-Ojo, the prayer sessions were a vivid testimony of the commitment of the Commission in promoting a positive and supportive work environment, as well as to appreciate the State Governor’s welfare initiatives.

She reaffirmed the commission’s commitment to addressing outstanding staff issues, and emphasized that the commission’s doors are always open for staff to voice their concerns and demands, rather than resorting to negative actions.

The Chairman Ekiti Southwest Local Government, Hon Richard Apolola praised Governor Oyebanji, for creating the enabling environment for local governance to thrive.

He commended the LGSC for the prayer’s initiative, and the staff for their dedication, passion and diligence.

There were goodwill messages from the HLA, Appointment and Postings, LGSC, Mr. Abiodun Familoye, and NULGE Chairmen of both Ekiti Southwest and Irepodun/Ifelodun LGs.
