The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Ekiti State Command has paraded three suspects who are specialised in refining and selling of substance suspected to be cannabis sativa in Ado Ekiti.
The suspects Agbekeye Ayomide 22, Oladimeji Akintomiwa 21, Agbeleye Beulah 20 and others at large were arrested at Zone 1 Olorunda Adebayo in Ado Metropolis where they were selling the products.
In a release, the command Public Relation Officer, Tolulope Afolabi, Olorunda Landlords had complained about the activities of the drug pedlers in the area with a call on the security agencies in the state to rescue them.
He said the Counter Terrorism Unit of the Command swung into action which led to the arrest of the suspects.
Items recovered from them included wrapped substance suspected to be cannabis sativa and other materials being used in processing the suspected substance into chips.
