About five thousand women are to benefit from the free cervical cancer screening and treatment, courtesy of the Ekiti State Government in partnership with World Health Organization WHO and Clinton Health Access Initiative.
The wife of the state governor, Dr Olayemi Abiodun-Oyebanji who gave the information while on an advocacy visit to the Adunni Olayinka Diagnostic and Wellness center in Ado said ten hospitals had been designated for the exercise across the state.
The Hospitals are:
Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti.
Federal Teaching Hospital Ido Ekiti.
State Specialist Hospital, Ijero Ekiti.
State Specialist Hospital, Ikere Ekiti.
State Specialist Hospital, Ikole Ekiti.
Comprehensive Health Center, Oke Isa, Ado Ekiti.
Comprehensive Health Center, Adin, Ilawe.
Comprehensive Health Center, Ijan Ekiti.
Comprehensive Health Center, Aramoko Ekiti.
Comprehensive Health Center, Otun Ekiti.
